Preparation

- Gear : Pack essential trekking gear including hiking boots, a backpack, a hat, sunscreen, a waterproof jacket, a headlamp.
- Health and Safety: Make sure you’re in good physical condition for the trek. It’s also important to be aware of the risks, including altitude sickness, wildlife encounters, and potential landslides or volcanic activity.
The Trek
- Starting Point : Begin your trek from Sembalun, a small village at the base of Mount Rinjani.
- Entering the Savanna: As you ascend, you’ll enter the savanna areas of Mount Rinjani. These areas are characterized by their open plains and scattered trees, offering a different landscape from the dense rainforests
- Crossing the Volcano: As you approach the volcano, the trail becomes more challenging. You’ll need to navigate around lava fields and cross dry rivers of lava. It’s crucial to follow the trail closely and not to stray off the path.
- Through the Rainforest : The next part of the trek takes you through dense rainforests. This is a beautiful but challenging part of the trek, as you’ll need to navigate through steep and slippery terrain.
- Descending to Torean : The final part of the trek involves descending from the volcano to the village of Torean. This is a long but rewarding descent, offering stunning views of the volcano and the surrounding landscape.

Itinerary
Arrival day
Pick up from your arrival day location in Lombok. Drop off at Sembalun Village. If you arrive in Sembalun in the morning you can continue with the program. If you arrive in the afternoon or evening, you have to stay overnight in the accommodations in Sembalun Village. the program will start in the morning.
Day 1 Trekking
Overview : Rinjani Trekking Center Post 1, 2, 3, 4 and Sembalun Crater Rim
Duration : Strart 8:00 Am, total trip 9 hours
Melas : 1 x for breakfast, Lunch and Diner
Higes : 1150, 2623, 2000, 600 meters above sea level

Day 2 Trekking
Overview : Mount Rinjani Summit, and Segara anak Lake
Duration : start at 2.30. total trip 7 hours.
Meals : 1 x breakfast, brunch and lunch
Highest : 3726 – 2000 meters above sea level
Experience :
Breath taking of mount Rinjani, Amazing Landscape of Lombok island, Sembalun, Segara anak lake, , mount Agung in Bali Island and Mount Tambora in Sumawa island from the distanece. Relax, enjoy, and have a soak in hot spring water or Aik Kalak.
Day 3 Trekking
Overview : Sgara anak lake, Cemra Lima, Penimbungan waterfall and Torean Village.
Duration : start at 10 :Am. total trip 5 hours.
Meals : 1 x breakfast, lunch, and diner.
Highest : 200 – 1500 meters above sea level
Experience :
Amazing Landscape Torean route, Segara Anak Lake, the highest amazing Penimbungan waterfall, best view Rinjani slope.
Day 4 Trekking
Overview : Otak Gawah Camping site, Forest and Torean village
Duration : start at 9 :Am. total trip 5 hours.
Meals : 1 x breakfast, and lunch.
Highest : 200 – 1500 meters above sea level
Experience : Bird watching, rain forest and Torean Village
